I don"t remember Gandalf using black speech in there. Best cast ever. Fun fact: the guy was supposed to miss Viggo on purpose when he threw the dagger, but his hand slipped, and it went straight for Viggo"s face. Viggo was just able to deflect it on relfex. You can even see the blade shatter. One of the best sections of the film. Anyone in 2020? I"m asking for this because if anyone sees this Have a Very Great New YEAR. The Lord of The Rings and The Hobbit movies are great but if The Silmarillion comes as MOVIE it would be very Great.
Sam: I know. I like this movie, but I like the book better. I"m just now half way reading it for the 6th time over the last 40 years or so. Watching these scenes on youtube, I have to say they definitely rewrote the dialogue for higher movie going drama. The moment Boromir mention Gondor the theme song came on. Just beautiful. Little details that stimulate the subconscious. Always loved the scene after the fireworks. Grumpy wife gives her husband one look and he stops laughing. I loved it. All that luscious, beautiful green. The Shire, I think, is the closest thing to Paradise what can be found on all of Middle Earth...
